Gauntlet's Photography Workshops are designed for photographers of all ages and experience. They provide a unique opportunity to photograph the birds from the centre up close under the guidance of professional photographer Peter MacArthur. You will get the chance to shoot a varied selection of birds from Gauntlet's famous collection in natural outdoors settings and also in a controlled studio environment.
Gauntlet run Photography Workshops thoughout the year.

Gift Voucher Our Photography Workshops are supplied as VOUCHERS and are valid for 12 months.
Our vouchers are sent by post and are presented in an A5 folder, including all the information you will need on the day.
Once you receive your voucher you can call us to book your workshop.
(Prior booking is required and early booking is advised.)

All Photography Workshops are non-refundable.

Half Day
Duration 3 hours

£65. Per Person.
Full Day
Duration 6 hours, including lunch.

£100. Per Person.
£80. Per Person with Spectator.

£125. Per Person with Spectator.

This applies to both half and full days
and has been designed to be adaptable to account for weather conditions.
Session 1 - Outside.
The first part of the workshop is spent outside, where you get the chance to photograph the birds in natural surroundings.
Our woodland setting has numerous trees for the birds to perch in, giving you beautifully natural and authentic results.

Session 2 - Studio.
For the second session we move inside to the studio setting so what ever the weather Gauntlet's famous collection of birds are there for you to photograph in a controlled environment.

Session 3 - Flying.
The third session of the day is where you really get to test your skills with a private flying session.
We will get the birds flying in the perfect way for you to get those ultimate action shots.

Duration 6 hours, including lunch.

The Photography Masterclass a full day workshop that will appeal to people of any experience who want to improve their technical and practical skills.
The Masterclaas well help you get the most from your camera and get that 'Ultimate Shot".
The itinerary on the Masterclass is flexible to allow the photographers to try different things, but the basic timetable is an outdoor session, an indoor session and a flying session. Time allowed for flying is limited to no more than one hour, but will include a variety of birds depending on the conditions on the day.

A maximum of 3 photographers per workshop

£190 (including lunch) per person

Workshops are limited to specific dates and to a maximum of 8 people per course.

Bald Eagle

Gauntlet invites our clients and customers to enter their favourite shots for our annual Photography Competition.
Photographs should be of birds from Gauntlet Birds of Prey.
There is no limit to the number of photographs you can enter.
Medium to high resolution is prefered.

Closing date for entries is 31st December.
